Terms of Use for VocabMate

By using VocabMate, you agree to the following terms:
1. Use of Service
VocabMate is for personal and educational use only. You own the words and content you add.
2. Service Availability
The app is provided “as is”, without guarantees of uninterrupted availability or error-free operation. Features may change over time.
3. Data & Privacy
VocabMate does not collect, store, or share personal data. Your content (words, tags, notes, etc.) is stored securely on your device and may sync across your Apple devices using Apple iCloud, subject to Apple’s terms and policies. No data is transmitted to or stored on servers operated by VocabMate.
4. Abuse or Misuse
We may revoke access if the app is misused, abused, or compromised.
5. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App.
6. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time. All data remains under your control in your Apple iCloud account or on your device until you delete it.
7. Children
If you are under the age of 13, you may only use VocabMate with the consent of a parent or guardian.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after updates equals acceptance.

VocabMate (“the App”) respects your privacy. This document explains how your data is handled.
Information We Collect
We do not collect, store, or share any personal information. All your vocabulary content (words, tags, notes, examples, etc.) remains under your control. Data may sync across your Apple devices using Apple iCloud, which is governed by Apple’s privacy and security policies.
How Your Data Is Used
Your content stays on your device and in your iCloud account. VocabMate does not process, sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers or third parties. No ads or third-party trackers are used in the App.
Children’s Privacy
VocabMate is designed for learners of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since all syncing is handled by Apple iCloud, parental consent should be managed through Apple’s account controls.
Data Deletion
You control your data entirely. To delete your content, remove it from within the App or delete the App from your device. To manage or delete synced data, use your Apple iCloud account settings.
Security
Sync and storage are handled by Apple iCloud with industry-standard encryption. VocabMate itself does not transmit your data to any third-party servers.
